Services: Brand Identity package and website Design

Sarah Marschall approached Telegraph Studio because she needed a brand identity for her new consultancy, Sarah Marschall Strategy. Her mission is to advance deep community and social impact through analysis, consulting, and support. It was important to her that the brand reflect her and her mission. She, also, knew that having a consistent approach to her brand voice and visuals would lend her instant credibility and make her clients feel more comfortable hiring her. She knew that the investment in a full brand identity would pay off.

The primary logo is a hand-drawn wordmark that clearly communicates the name of the company and is accompanied by a symbolized mark. The hand-drawn lettering adds flair that is approachable and joyful. The mark is a stylized mountain with its reflection below to represent the majestic goal of improving the world as well as the reflection and thoughtful time it takes to prepare for that work. The elements combined together to represent who Sarah is and her business mission.

Once we completed the primary logo, we started on icons, submarks, wordmarks and a couple of different lock ups. In addition, we selected typefaces and created guidelines for photo usage. Finally, we designed a document to present all of the brand visuals to Sarah. When we finalized all of the brand elements, we were ready to put them to use in Sarah’s brand collateral and on the website she hired us to design.

Working in such a collaborative way with Sarah Marschall was a powerful experience. Her mission to do good, her story, her services...they all come together to make real world change and gives her work meaning. (And our work meaning by connection to it.) We cannot wait to see what Sarah does with her brand. We have no doubt she will make an impact.
